Make plans for your company to participate in the 2024 NUCA Trench Safety Stand Down (TSSD) Week. Being a part of our popular 8th annual TSSD Week will help educate your employees on trenching hazards at the jobsite.

Registration for this event will open on March 1 and close on March 15.  Please mark your calendars and look for the email.  

The cost to attend is $550 per person whether you are an angler or guest.  The rooms start at $289++ per night.  This event sells out fast so if you plan to attend, you must register as soon as you receive the email.

The dates for the 2024 Washington Summit are Wednesday, May 22 & Thursday, May 23 at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill 400 New Jersey Avenue, NW. Washington, D.C. Registration is now open!

At this year’s Summit, meet in-person with your lawmakers. We’ll provide fact sheets and information. Your Chapter will arrange the group meetings. And we’ll wrap it up with our evening Congressional Reception on Capitol Hill. Lobby Day is Thursday, May 23.

NUCA of Florida is hosting Legislative Days from January 30-31 at the AC Marriott hotel in Tallahassee.  This is a chance to walk the halls with NUCA members from around the state and meet with our district area lawmakers. 

The 9th Annual Clay Shoot is SOLD OUT!

It is time to register for the 9th Annual Clay Shoot being held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the South Florida Shooting Club in Palm City. Registration will begin at 7:00 am – Breakfast provided Safety Talk at 8:15 am – Shotgun 8:30 am. Lunch & Awards will immediately follow the shoot.

NUCA of South Florida is SUPER excited to introduce the first course of its kind developed exclusively by the NUCA of South Florida Workforce Development Committee!

Introduction to Underground Utility Construction Coursewill be held every Tuesday & Thursday from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Park Vista High School in Lake Worth.  The course runs from January 16 – March 12, 2024.   Upon completion, the student will have their OSHA 10 certification and job opportunities will be available to them.   Please Note: This is NOT an OSHA 10 Class!
