The NUCA Convention will be held February 10-13 in Tucson, AZ.  Early Bird Registration is open until October 31, 2025. The discounted room block closes on Monday, January 12.  This is a great opportunity to meet with fellow industry members from across the country.  As one of the largest NUCA chapters, it would be great to see South Florida represented at this event.

Register Today for NUCA’s Safety Training Class on CPR/First Aid being held on Friday, January 30.

Students will learn how to recognize an emergency and how to prioritize care for injuries and sudden illnesses and the purpose of Good Samaritan laws.

NUCA of South Florida is proud to be a joint host for the Construction Night at the Panthers Game being held on Tuesday, January 27 at 6:00 pm at the Amerant Bank Arena. The Florida Panthers will be playing the Utah Mammoth with a Puck Drop at 7:00 pm.

NUCA of Florida will be hosting Legislative Days in Tallahassee on January 27-28.

This is a great event to attend to ‘Walk The Halls’ of the Capitol and meet with our area district lawmakers.  Our lobbyists in Tallahassee give us the talking points at the legislative briefing and I will schedule meetings with our elected Representatives and Senators.  

Proceeds from this event will benefit the NUCA of South Florida Workforce Development Program!

Wreaths Across America, Lantana

At this event, we will be installing the 2026 Board of Directors, presenting our Annual Awards and recognizing New Members! If you joined our Association this year, please make plans to attend.

The cost to attend is $150 per person. The cost includes a 3 hour open bar with passed hors d’oeuvres and a plated dinner. You must be registered to attend this event. There are sponsorship opportunities available.

The NUCA of South Florida Annual Awards & Holiday Party is SOLD OUT.

The 6th Annual Turkey Bowl will be held at a new venue, Greenacres Bowl in Greenacres, on Wednesday, November 12 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Lanes are limited so don’t delay, reserve yours today!

The cost is $450 per lane, up to 5 bowlers per lane and includes 2 drink tickets and food.

The South Florida Damage Prevention Council will meet on Wednesday, November 5 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at Kelly Tractor in West Palm Beach. Lunch will be provided.

NUCA Members are being given the first opportunity to register for this meeting. There is limited space in the meeting room.

The 41st Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, October 31 at Wellington National Golf Club. This is the only event that raises funds for our Scholarship Program. With your support & participation, we were able to award $40,000 in scholarships to seven outstanding students this year!
