We’re excited to announce that NUCA of South Florida will be hosting a specialized training program tailored for high school students interested in delving into the world of underground utility infrastructure! Over nine weeks, participants will gain valuable insights into the intricate workings of South Florida’s underground utility systems. From installing utility pipes to repairing asphalt and constructing sidewalks, attendees will explore various aspects of this dynamic industry and learn how to forge a career path within it.
Starting in August 2024, the program offers students the opportunity to earn their OSHA 10 certification, a valuable asset for future employment. Classes will take place at Park Vista High School every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., ensuring accessibility for interested students in the local community. Join us as we pave the way for the next generation of skilled professionals in the field of underground utility infrastructure!
